This policy explains returns, refunds, and how pickup and delivery orders work at Doobi's Smoke Shop (“Doobi's,” “we,” “us”). Online ordering, checkout, payment, and fulfillment are provided through our online ordering platform. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.
Final sale
Because we sell tobacco, nicotine, hemp-derived, and related age-restricted products, sales are generally final for health, safety, and regulatory reasons. Once a product has left the store with you or been delivered, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds, except where required by law or as described below.
Defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of pickup or delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. If we confirm the problem, we will replace the item or issue a refund for it. Please keep the product and packaging until the issue is resolved. This does not cover ordinary use, misuse, or change of mind.
Pickup orders
- Pickup orders are prepared at 23 W Washington Blvd and held for the purchaser.
- You must be 21+ and present a valid, government-issued photo ID at pickup. ID that is expired, altered, or does not match the order may result in a refused order.
- We hold pickup orders for up to 3 days. Orders not collected within the hold window may be canceled and, where the payment has been captured, refunded to the original payment method.
Delivery orders
- Local delivery is available across the Westside, subject to courier availability and address verification. Delivery is intrastate only — within California — and we do not ship or deliver across state lines.
- The delivery address must be within our serviceable zone. Orders to an address outside the zone or outside California cannot be fulfilled and will be canceled and refunded.
- Someone 21+ must be present to receive the order and must show a valid government-issued photo ID at the door. We do not leave orders unattended and never deliver to a minor or an intoxicated person.
- California address matching: the billing address, the delivery address, and the address on the age-verified ID must match. If they do not match, or age cannot be verified at the door, the courier will not complete the delivery.
- If a delivery fails because no eligible adult is available, ID cannot be verified, or the addresses do not match, the order is returned to the store. We may refund the product total; delivery and service fees, and any restocking or return costs, may be non-refundable.
Payment & refund timing
Payment is processed securely by our payment provider when you place your order. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refunds are typically initiated within 5 business days of approval; it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the credit. Delivery and service fees may be non-refundable except where the failure was on our side or as required by law.
